Champagne & Stilletos

My sister Annie-easter (Annaliese to others) is awesome...she is so creative....rang her today to catch up & check she was still alive (its been a while!!!!) BUT she was just welcoming guests arriving for a "Champagne & Stilletos Party" - brunch/lunch do with the dress criteria being have to wear high heels & jewellery - all in aid of a lingerie party & a great get together. There was already lots of laughter & frivolity in the background so I think the champers was well & truly flowing!!!!

I love my sisters, they are awesome...if we lived near each other we could all dress up & drink champagne together!!!

My other beautiful sister Soph-a-Loph (Sophie to the rest of you) flies home from the UK in 2 weeks time - can't wait to see you, miss you tons....now counting down the days!!!!

I am in Scarf Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE LOVE LOVE scarves & shawls - I have collected & worn them since I was 12 - help thats 30 years ago!!!! - I will wear them at any opportunity, even to the gym!!! Precious Thoughts

In recent times I have been plagues with seemingly increasing headaches that are becoming quite debilitating. It has meant I have had to do what I am told (yep thats hard for me!!!!) & rest more. In doing so I have had time to pause and reflect on beautiful thoughts, wishes and prayers. Here is today's favourite:

Wedding Bliss

Well we went to Jodi & Nathan's wedding on the weekend and it was just beautiful. Considering all the upheavals of recent times and the stress they have been under these last 4-5 months it is amazing what can be achieved - with the help of gorgeous friends.

Jodi's mum would have loved her daughter's special day and Aunty Chris was there in spirit, Jodi said she could feel her mum with her, so that was a comfort to her.

The wedding took place at Riverside Rowing Club right on our lovely Torrens River and the ceremony took place on the balcony just a the day began to close in.

Jodi was resplendant in a lovely 50's inspired HOT PINK dress.....with her attendants in black with sexy, sexy shoes!!!

The wedding cake was made by a friend - LOTS and LOTS of adorable chocolate crackles...just so sweet.
